Strategy to Execution.
Clear Direction. Shared Commitment. A Plan That Actually Moves.
Why Strategy Often Stalls
Every organization reaches a point where the way forward is no longer obvious. Leadership changes, priorities multiply, or a plan that once felt right begins to stall.
Strategic planning helps your leadership team step back, see clearly, and choose a direction everyone can stand behind. Then we go further. Together, we build the ownership, rhythm, and measures that carry your strategy into everyday work, so the plan you agree on is the plan you deliver.
Most organizations do not lack good ideas. They lack a clear process to turn those ideas into focused priorities, then into action.
Too often, planning ends with a polished document and a sense of relief. A few months later, daily demands return and no one is sure who owns what. The thinking was sound. The system to carry it was missing.
A strategy isn't finished when the vision is agreed. That's where the most valuable work begins.
Who This Is For
Strategic planning is designed for senior managers, executive teams, boards, and decision-makers responsible for where their organization goes next. It's especially helpful when you're:
Facing a defining moment, such as new leadership, a funding shift, or a change in mandate
Ending one plan and starting another, and wanting the next cycle to deliver more
Stretched across too many priorities with a lean team
Living with a stalled plan that no longer shapes real decisions
Seeking genuine alignment, not just polite agreement, across your leadership team
Whether you lead a ministry, agency, regional institution, not-for-profit, or private company, the need is the same: clarity about where you're going and confidence that you'll get there.
Types of Projects
My strategic planning work spans ministries, regional agencies, not-for-profits, professional bodies, and private enterprises across the Caribbean. Every engagement is shaped to its context, but most fall into one or more of these areas.
Organizational Strategic Plan Development
A full strategic plan built from the ground up. We move from research and stakeholder input to a clear mission, vision, and set of priorities.
Multi-Year Strategic Planning
Three- to five-year plans that balance long-term ambition with practical, phased milestones. Your direction stays steady, even as conditions shift.
Strategy Review and Repositioning
An honest look at how your current plan has performed. Then we refresh your direction or reposition the organization for its next phase.
Implementation and Action Planning
Approved priorities turned into working action plans. Each one has a clear owner, a realistic timeline, and defined next steps.
Monitoring and Evaluation Framework Design
Frameworks that track performance and show real progress, not just activity. You'll always know whether your strategy is truly moving.
Leadership-Team Facilitation
Participatory sessions that surface different views and build genuine ownership. Leaders leave aligned around shared priorities.
Departmental and Unit Planning
Focused strategies for departments, units, and training centers. Each plan reflects its own goals while supporting the wider organization.
Strategy During Change or Transition
Planning support through restructuring, growth, or leadership change. Strategy and people move forward together.

How We Work
Every engagement follows my proven approach: Envision, Design, Journey. The Waypoint Method™ brings that approach to life for strategic planning, with a clear focus on what happens after the plan is approved.
Envision: Where Are We Going?
We start with an honest look at where you stand today. Then we review your mission and vision and narrow many possibilities into a focused set of strategic priorities your leaders genuinely support.
Design: How Will We Get There?
Next, we turn direction into a practical plan. Each priority gets concrete actions, one accountable owner, a realistic timeline, and a clear first milestone.
Journey: How Will We Keep Moving?
Finally, we build the rhythm that keeps your strategy alive. A simple review cadence and a small set of meaningful measures keep progress visible, especially in the first 90 days, when most strategies either take root or quietly fade.
Experience You Can Rely On
For more than two decades, I have helped leadership teams across the Caribbean set direction and follow through on it. My planning work has supported government ministries, regional agencies, not-for-profits, professional bodies, educational institutions, and private enterprises.
For 14 years, I served as Director of Strategic Business Services at the Cave Hill School of Business, where I led strategic planning consultancies and taught Strategic Planning and Management in the Executive MBA program.
My credentials connect strategy to the people who deliver it:
Prosci-certified Change Management Practitioner
Certified Executive Coach, with EQ-i 2.0 and EQ360 certifications
MSc in Human Resource Development and Performance Management, University of Leicester
Strategy sets the direction. Change management helps people adopt it. Leadership builds the capacity to sustain it. I bring all three into the room.
Let's Talk About Where You're Going
If your organization needs clearer direction, a fresh start on a stalled plan, or a strategy your leaders can truly own, a first conversation is the best place to begin.
We will look at where you are now, where you want to go, and what kind of planning support fits. No pressure and no obligation, just an honest conversation about the future you are ready to build.
