A Proven Path: Envision, Design, Journey

1. Envision

We start with the destination. Together, we define your future desired state — the vision, the outcomes, and the reasons they matter. Clarity here sets the direction for everything that follows.

2. Design

Next, we build the path. We map the steps, sequence key decisions, and focus energy on what actually drives results. Vision becomes a practical, achievable plan.

3. Journey

Finally, we move from planning to lived change. I guide you through implementation, help you navigate the inevitable bumps, and make sure the progress you create takes root and lasts.

Meet Marjorie Wharton, CMP (Prosci), CPEC, MSc

Change rarely arrives on a convenient schedule. A new leadership role, a shifting market, a team ready to grow, a vision waiting for a plan — these moments hold real promise, yet they can feel unsteady without a clear way forward. As a Transformation Coach and Transition Specialist, I help individuals and organizations turn that uncertainty into intentional progress, moving from where you are now toward the future you choose on purpose.

My work centers on three connected disciplines: leadership development, strategic planning, and change management. These are not separate services stacked side by side. They are parts of one system. Leadership shapes who guides the change. Strategy defines where you're going and why. Change management makes sure the progress you create actually takes hold. Whether I'm supporting a single leader or an entire organization, the aim stays the same — stronger clarity, wiser decisions, and change that lasts.

At the heart of every engagement is a simple, proven method I call Envision, Design, Journey. We begin by envisioning the future desired state, clarifying the vision and the outcomes that matter. From there, we design the path — mapping the steps, sequencing decisions, and focusing energy where it counts. Then we make the journey together, moving from planning into lived change and holding the gains along the way. This framework brings structure to transitions that might otherwise feel overwhelming, so vision, strategy, and execution finally work as one.

I bring this approach to life through coaching, consulting, and training — flexible ways to engage that meet you where you are. If you're facing a transition, personally or across your organization, and you want a partner who offers both a clear structure and genuine encouragement, I'd welcome the conversation.

Let's talk about the future you're ready to build.

“Marjorie comes across as very professional and experienced. She is skilled at forwarding the action, achieving a robust session in a short period of time, and is strong at reflecting back comments in a powerful way that lead to further reflections. ”

“I had no real idea how coaching worked, but I knew I needed guidance toward my career path. This is when I met Marjorie Wharton. From our first encounter, Marjorie made me think about what I wanted to do and helped me structure my goals in a way I never had before. She was exceptionally personable and professional in our sessions, and we connected right away. Her ability to help me focus on what really mattered to me and how I could achieve it is highly commendable.”

Credentials That Reinforce Real-World Delivery

I am most interested in change management, transforming organizational culture, resilience, and leadership through transition. My articles reflect a consistent message: lasting transformation comes from addressing the human side of change as deliberately as the structural side.

I am always interested in learning and teaching. My key credentials that support my work include:

  • Prosci-certified Change Management Practitioner — equipped with proven, evidence-based methods for leading people through change

  • Certified Executive Coach, holding EQ-i 2.0 and EQ360 certifications — bringing emotional intelligence to the heart of leadership development

  • MSc in Human Resource Development and Performance Management from the University of Leicester — pairing academic depth with hands-on practice

For 14 years, I served as Director of Strategic Business Services at the Cave Hill School of Business, where I still serve as a trainer and facilitator. That role gave me extensive experience developing strategic plans, leading in a dynamic environment, and supporting others in their growth journeys.

Over the years, my experience has also helped me build a clear understanding of the priorities, pressures, and possibilities facing leadership teams — and a practical empathy for the people responsible for delivering results.

“Marjorie and I have worked together for a few years on designing and delivering leadership development initiatives for private and public sector participants across the Caribbean. I have always found her to be engaged and committed to the development of her participants, with a real interest in helping them to realize their growth potential.”
— James Clemens, Canada
